Day 5 After breakfast we leave towards the north-east to reach alLut Desert, Iran’s first UNESCO natural heritage siteto admire its wonderful Kalut. we will return for lunch city, and then we will have a nice city tour visiting “Hammam Ganj-ali-khan”, commissioned around 1627 by the Safavid governor ganj-Ali-Khan and the Ganj-Ali-Khan Bazaar with its large open spaceoutdoors and the Vakil Bazaar. overnight stay in Kerman Day 6 After breakfast, we will leave Kerman towards the south to reachto Shazdeh Garden (UNESCO site), built in the 19th century. Thenwe will visit Arg-e Rayen, an adobe brick constructionof the Sassanid era. after lunch we continue the road southto get to Bam. dinner and overnight stay in Bam Day 7 Early in the morning we go to visit the citadel of Bam (siteUNESCO), the largest adobe brick construction built at5th century BC. we will travel east for 360 km to get toZahedan, capital of the Sistan and Baluchistan region. dinner andovernight stay in Zahedan. Day 8 Early morning we will leave Zahedan and head north for 180Km to visit the wonderful Iranian UNESCO site,Shahr-e Sukhteh (Burnt City), an archaeological site discoveredby the Italian archaeologist Maurizio Tosi, dating back to the Age ofBronze. It is an urban settlement attributable to CultureJiroft which represents one of the oldest and largest cities in the worlddeveloped around 3200 BC. return to Zahedan and overnight stay. Day 9 In the morning departure for Chah Bahar (660 km, 8.30 hours), avery important port of Iran alongside the Indian Ocean wherewe will admire the natural attractions of the country. one in the afternoonquiet walk to the center. dinner and overnight stay in Chabahar. Day 10 Today we will visit the Pink Lagoon and Montagnie Marziani Day 11 After breakfast we leave the city traveling west (153 km, 2:30 hours) to reach Derak beach where the desertfaces the ocean. then returning to the city, we will visit amud volcano. return to the city, dinner and overnight stay. Day 12 At 10:40 the Iran Air flight from Chah Bahar to Tehran withexpected arrival at 2.35pm (via Zahedan, without changing planes). immediately afterwardsafter landing we will go towards Borujerd (400 km, 5 hours). In theIn the afternoon we will visit the Borujerd Friday Mosque. aof the first mosques built in Iran in the 9th century. Dinner andovernight stay in Borujerd. Day 13 At 5:00 in the morning we will leave for Dorud, to catch the trainregional at 6:00 and we will do a small section of the Trans IranianRailway, the first and only Iranian industrial heritageof UNESCO. we will have breakfast in a family’s houserural. after which we will take a walk around the village and thenwe will leave by car for the Bisheh waterfall, one of the beautiful oneswaterfalls in the Zagros mountains. in the afternoon we will leave forHamedan (200 km, 3 hours), dinner and overnight stay Day 14 After breakfast we will leave Hamedan towards the north, to reachto the Ali-Sadr cave, one of the longest water caves in the world.then we will travel north-west, heading to Takht-e-Soleyman (225Km, 3 hours) the holiest sanctuary of Zoroastrianism and ancientSasanian Empire. dinner and overnight stay in Zanjan Day 15 Departure towards Urmia. along the way, we will visit the salt lakeendorheic of Urmia, an Iranian biosphere reserveof UNESCO. in the afternoon we will visit the Sar Ghiz church,of the Sassanid era Day 16 Early morning we will leave Urmia towards the Armenian churches (UNESCO sites).
