In the evening we can choose between various restaurants with different types of cuisine, typical or influenced by nearby Oman and Saudi Arabia. D02: QESHM With its dolphin shape and its mangrove forests, caves, canyons, and gorges, waiting to amaze anyone. Qeshm is a paradise, especially for nature lovers. What cannot be missed are the women’s clothes. Most women in Qeshm wear two types of niqab, (face coverings), which unlike other places, are not for religious purposes, but rather derive from the history of this fantastic island. D03: LAFT VILLAGE This island has a lot to offer, for example, UNESCO has inscribed the art of building Lenj, (small wooden boats), in the list of intangible cultural heritage, and the best place to witness these creations is the shipyard near the village of Laft. These fishing boats can be observed in different stages of construction, being painted, up to the inauguration at sea. The word Mashhad means sanctuary and refers to the sacred places of the Shiite religion. We will visit the sacred temple of Imam Reza and the tomb of the Iranian national epic poet Ferdowssi author of Golestan, an esoteric epic poem. D03: MASHHAD TORBAT – E-JAM Visit to a typical multi-ethnic provincial town towards Afghanistan, home to the remains of a very important saint in Shiite history. D04: DOMESTIC FLIGHTS MASHAD AHWAZ WEST OF THE COUNTRY Overnight stay in Ahwaz D05: AHWAZ – KHORRAM ABAD We set off towards Khorram Abad, along the way visiting the ziggurat Choqa Zanbil, and then continuing to Susa, the ancient capital of the Elamites, to visit the Apadana palace and the tomb of the prophet Daniel.  D06: KHORRAM ABAD – HAMADAN We begin with a visit to the fortress citadel of Falak Aflak and then the inscriptions of Bisotun, Kangavar. hamadan. D07: HAMADAN ZANJAN Hamadan was the capital under the empire of Cyrus, in ancient times it was called Apadana. You can visit several monuments: the Mausoleum of Esther and Mordecai, that of Baba Taher, the tomb of Ganj Nameh and the Mausoleum of Avicenna, the famous 10th century philosopher, as well as numerous bas-reliefs. Stop at the village of Massouleh and visit around the characteristic town and then road along the coast to Bandar -e – Anzali port of the Caspian Sea.  D09: ARDABIL – CASPIAN SEA – TABRIZ Called the city of the Sufis, Ardabil boasts the tomb of Sheikh Safi Al Din (UNESCO), founding figure of the Safavid dynasty. Ardabil stands on a 1400m plateau surrounded by high mountains often covered in snow. D10: TABRIZ Capital of Iranian Azerbaijan, Tabriz is located at around 1350m in a valley surrounded by mountains. The main activity is the manufacturing of carpets, but the area is also renowned for the processing of silver and jewellery. The  great covered bazaar of the 15th century: a kind of labyrinth in which even today it is evocative to get lost among the architectural wonders. Since the dawn of Christianity there has been a large Armenian community and the city boasts a number of churches, also mentioned by Marco Polo in his memoirs. Walking around the city you come across the Blue Mosque, the Citadel and the Rose Garden. In Tabriz, Iranian (Farsi), Azerbaijani, Turkish and Russian are spoken. D11: TABRIZ KANDOVAN TABRIZ

Visit to the famous Archaeological Museum, whose entrance evokes the great arch of the Palace of Cosroes in Ctesiphon, full of finds and works dating back to the great periods of Persian history, from the Achaemenids to the Parthians and Sassanids. Next, visit the Golestan Palace (UNESCO since 2013), a complex of buildings erected in the 17th century and beautifully decorated. Lunch in a restaurant and then a visit to the national jewelery museum. An extraordinary collection of jewels belonging to Iranian imperial families from the Afsharide dynasty onwards, where we will see Daryaye Nour (the sea of ​​light), the heaviest pink diamond in the world (approximately 182 carats). Dinner and overnight in Tehran. 3rd day: FLIGHT TEHRAN KHORRAM ABAD Departure in good time for Tehran Mehrabad airport to take the direct flight to Khorram Abad (50 minutes). It is a very ancient human settlement where scientific research has demonstrated the presence of human life for over 40,000 years. In this wonderful valley which still today offers its citizens coexistence with nature, we will see the fortress of Falak-ol-Aflak, a Sassanid barracks and its very rich archaeological and anthropological museum. The Shapuri bridge (which we have the honor of taking the name of), another proof of Sassanid engineering in the area, a brick minaret, a Buyidi era watchtower (10th, 11th century) and the stone vortex, a circular structure built by the Sassanids on a water source to be able to distribute it as best as possible. Tchogha Zanbil (UNESCO since 1979) a complex of various temples from the Elamite era (1250 BC) and Susa (UNESCO since 2015) the meeting point of two very ancient civilisations, Mesopotamia and the Elamite and the winter capital of the Achaemenid empire. Transfer to Ahvaz (120 km/1:45 hours), dinner and overnight stay. 6th day: AHVAZ SHIRAZ After breakfast we leave for Shiraz (560 km/8 hours). Along the way we will visit Bishapour old city (UNESCO since 2018), The fortified structures, palaces and city plan dating back to the early and late times of the Sassanid Empire, which extended across the region from 224 to 658 AD.
